An inexpensive form of extreme cold, Dry Ice, in conjunction with acetone or other heat transfer fluid in a jacket, can create an incredibly cold environment for extraction. Cold extraction improves the quality of the extract. CO2 can be toxic and is also dangerous in confined spaces, therefore adequate ventilation should be used.
